Christine Grosart is an offshore diver medic, working in the North Sea on vessels and platforms. She is a registered NHS Paramedic, based in Somerset, UK.

 

From her early career as a jump jockey to cave diving exploration, Christine lives for adventure and the outdoors.

She is a fully accredited British Caving Association Level 2 cave leader, as well as a trustee, secretary, underwater photographer and instructor for the marine conservation charity Ghost Fishing UK. 

She is an examiner in the Cave Diving Group of Great Britain and has discovered and mapped new caves in France and Croatia.

 

In 2020 she was accoladed with Fellowship of the Royal Geographical Society and in the same year was inducted into the BBC Radio Four Women's Hour Power List.

 

Chris is an experienced and vibrant public speaker and is available for talks across the UK and Europe.

She is a published author in the caving and diving media and has won awards for her photography and film making.

In 2009, she visited the far reaches of Wookey Hole Cave in Somerset, achieving a new women’s cave diving record in the UK.
